So Em has been gone the last week and a half at Nana & Papa's in Cali. When we were kids we used to go to our Gma & Gpa's house for a few weeks (even as long as a month) during the summers and really get that one on one with the grandparents. (Those were memories we still remember to this day and will forever and ever...) So, we decided to do that with our kids, at the request of course of Nana & Papa.. So, Em has another week and a half before she's due to come home and boy is Lilly getting anxious. She def. misses her sister, but still finds things to do either around the house or outside. We came home and set up the girls' swim pool in the back and Lilly went right down to business pulling out toys and getting in. She had a blast, but still found time to ask, "Where Emma?" 
Poor thing, all alone in her own little pool, she sure misses her sis!!
Once she hears her sis is coming home soon, she's happy for at least a while longer.

How fun for your kids. Alexis is going to stay with my mom for 4 days in July-I sure would love to send Eli too! I don't know how he would handle it though...I am already worried about her!
Isn't it funny how that works? theya re best friends who fight reguarly, or at least that s how it is in my house, so when the best friend leaves it so sad! I love these pictures you took of her.
